There is something about the look and feeling of a vintage diner that always give me a sense of comfort and nostalgia. Perhaps it is the familiarity of the menu or the idea of simpler times. I like the feeling of being on the set of a movie like Back to the Future or Blast from the Past. I grew up watching a lot of movies and associate films like Back to the Future with my childhood.

Vintage diners are my fave!! We don’t have many of them here in Austin (shame), so any time I find one I get super excited! They remind me of the movie Grease, which was one of my favorite movies growing up 🙂
