Before Andrew and I left for Tigh-Na-Mara we talked about how badly we wanted it to snow on our trip so we could finally take snowy blog photos. On our last day there we woke up to a pleasant surprise of a snow covered winter wonderland. I didn’t take into account that I had a long drive back to Victoria later that day and very little experience driving in treacherous conditions, all I could think about was my snowy photos. Luckily the drive back wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and I got to experience a couple of hours of winter before I headed home. I am kind of sad because I didn’t get to stick around long enough to build a snowman, hopefully it will snow this year in Victoria so I can make my vintage snowman with a carrot nose and charcoal eyes.
