Products c/o L’Oreal
I am always on the lookout for a quality drugstore hair care line because I find the salon brands to be so expensive and I am not entirely convinced they are that much better. I have been intrigued by the L’Oreal Ever Pure collection because it is vegan, sulfate free, paraben free and free from harsh salts. I normally only wash my hair twice a week and use dry shampoo in between washes, so my shampoo and conditioner last several months. I washed my hair twice this week the first time I used the Ever Fresh collection to remove buildup and impurities to make my hair and scalp fresh and full of life again. Later in the week, I used L’Oreals Ever Pure Moisture collection to give my hair that extra dose of moisture and strength.
EVERFRESH MICRO-EXFOLIATING SCRUB:
My scalp has been a little dry and flaky lately, and I don’t know why but perhaps it is the changing of seasons. I was excited to try this Micro-Exfoliating Scrub because it reminded me of a face scrub for my hair. The apricot seeds gently remove impurities, flakes and the build up of dirt and excess oils that cause the hair to be weighed down. I applied the scrub to my damp hair in the shower and massaged it into my scalp for a few minutes and pulled it down to the tips. I then rinsed my hair and followed up with the Ever Pure shampoo and conditioner. I liked the way it felt on my scalp and was a gentle treatment to remove build up.
The Ever Fresh shampoo gently cleanses, refreshes and balances the scalp with Indian lilac. This shampoo is a thick creamy texture that foams nicely and cleanses the scalp and hair while leaving it feeling soft and manageable. Your hair doesn’t feel stripped away or damaged because the formula is free from harsh sulfates and surfactants. I love the fresh Indian Lilac fragrance, and my hair wasn’t in a massive tangled mess which is common for me.
I loved this conditioner because of its thick and creamy texture; I felt like it was coating my hair with moisture while leaving my scalp balanced and the ends manageable. I left it in my hair for a few minutes, and when I rinsed it, I noticed that my hair was soft and easy to comb. I always get tangled hair when I get out of the shower, so I was pleased with the results of this conditioner.
EVERPURE MOISTURE SHAMPOO:
I use the Ever Pure Moisture system once a week to keep my hair lush and shiny. The rosemary gently cleanses dry hair to replenish essential moisture while adding a luminous shine. I like this formula because you can also use it on color treated hair and it is free of harsh sulfates, salts, and surfactants that can strip dull damaged hair. I also loved the fresh floral fragrance and luxurious lather.
EVERPURE MOISTURE CONDITIONER:
This conditioner is excellent for all types of hair including color treated. It leaves my hair feeling soft and detangled without the feeling of being weighed down. My hair was easy to comb through when wet, and once it dried, it felt soft and bouncy. I would highly recommend this line if you are looking for a quality drugstore brand.
EVERPURE 10-IN-ONE™ ELIXIR:
I usually add some serum or heat protectant to my hair when I get out of the shower to give my hair that extra nourishment and shine. I love this Ever Pure 10 in one hair elixir because it has so many benefits in one formula. These benefits include 1. Nourish 2. Hydrate 3. Soothe 4. Repair 5. Density 6. Smooth 7. Texture 8. Strength 9. Softness 10. Shine.
I try to avoid blow drying my hair as much as possible and usually let my hair air dry. I applied this elixir to my hair and then blow dried my bangs and let the rest of my hair air dry. I loved how shiny, soft and manageable my hair felt afterward. All I had to do once my hair dried was comb through it, and I was ready to go.
I am definitely excited to continue using this line to see if I like the results over time. I want to try some of the other hair masks and clay based dry shampoos. Hopefully I can try them in the future because I am very impressed with this collection.
