I have always been a fan of clay face masks and try to use them at least twice a week. I have been dying to try the new clay masks from L’Oreal and was so happy when they sent me the collection to try along with a L’Oreal spa robe. I have seen people on Instagram use all three of the masks in a technique called muti-clay so I thought I would try that. I put the green mask on my T-zone because it purifies and mattifies the skin which I need on my oily T-zone. I then added the red mask to my cheeks and around my nose to exfoliate and refine followed by the grey mask on my jaw line to detox and brighten my old acne scarring and congested skin. I left the masks on for ten minutes and then rinsed them off in the shower. I noticed that the red mask has a volcanic scrub for exfoliation which was a nice feature. The green and grey masks worked well at drawing out my oil and cleansing my pores. I especially noticed all of the darker oils spots with the grey mask that you can see along my jaw line in these photos. Once I rinsed off the masks, my skin was super soft and bright. I had a small imperfection on my chin, and I was able to extract it afterwards. I would like to try each mask on the full face to see if it gives a different result. These L’Oreal clay masks are known to be a Glam Glow face masks dupe for 1/3 of the price, and my final verdict is that they are very comparable to the high-end mask that you can get at Sephora. I would highly recommend these masks if you are new to clay masks and want to experiment without breaking the bank. I would personally buy all three so you can customise them to your skin. If I had to only buy one, it would be the grey mask because I liked its detoxifying effects and that I could see it drawing out my oil similar to the Glam Glow one from Sephora.
