Happy New Year!! 2014 has been a pivotal year in my life because I started this blog and in many ways it opened new doors and gave me the opportunity to write a monthly fashion column for Monday Magazine. I started this blog because I honestly didn’t know what to do with my life and I felt very depressed because most people my age seemed to be established and have careers. I was asking my friend Vanessa for advice and she inspired me to start a blog and as a result Laura Jane Atelier was born. When I started blogging I didn’t know what to expect and I honestly didn’t think anyone would read it. I feel so honoured that people take the time to visit my blog everyday and leave comments. You inspire me to continue blogging and I am looking forward to the new year. Who knows what 2015 will be bring.

Also- I wanted to say I’m sorry the Maybelline BB Cream irritated your skin as I’m the one who recommended it. I feel horribly about it! I always have to be careful with drugstore foundations, and I keep my receipts and return any foundations that irritate my skin. I wouldn’t recommend the foundations from my last post for you, as they do have fragrance in them, and may cause a reaction, if that’s what you’re allergic to!
