I am a huge face oil junkie and have been using them morning and night for several years now. I remember thinking that the concept of putting oil on your skin seemed like a bad idea. I thought that it would clog my pores and make my skin feel super greasy. I found that using face oil has the opposite effect where it helps to balance out your skin and stop it from overproducing oil. I honestly can’t live without face oil because it has improved my skin so much over the years. It is especially helpful in the winter when my skin is dry and irritated. I also find that it helps to fade dark spots, shrink pores, reduce oil production and minimises fine lines. When it comes to face oil, I am drawn towards floral blends especially rose and lavender. Below is a list of some of my favourite face oils that I have tried in the last couple of months. I go through face oil so fast because I probably use way too much but I can’t help it because I love having my skin drenched in oil especially at night. Rose Hydrating Oil
I randomly discovered this face oil on Instagram and became obsessed with the pink and gold bottle because it reminded me of Marie Antoinette. This has become one of my new favourite face oils because it feels like you are applying fresh roses onto your skin. It is a beautiful thick serum that is a darker colour reminding me of fresh rose petals. It honestly feels so pure and fresh I will for sure buy it again. I also love using unique cult beauty products that not everyone owns. This oil is a hidden gem for all rose lovers.
The Rose Hydrating Oil is packed full of amazing plant-based ingredients, that will provide beautiful results. This product can be used in multiple ways. It can be used as a cleansing oil, makeup remover, serum, finishing hydrating moisturiser, or even as hair oil. This product is anti-ageing, anti-bacterial, healing, moisturising, brightening, calming, it controls redness, it regulates sebum production, and it is non-comedogenic.
WILD ROSE Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil
I have been fascinated with this face oil for a while now because it has floating rose petals inside the bottle. The oil has a lovely rose scent to it and is quickly absorbed into the skin. I would say this is one of the lighter weight face oils so if you are new to oils this one might be a good one for daytime use.

This is one of my favourite nighttime face oils because it is so rich and nourishing. I prefer to use it at night because of its deep restorative properties. You can tell that there is a fantastic combination of luxurious organic oils. It is a little on the pricey, but a little goes a long way especially if you only use it at night.

I received this face serum in my Elle box, and I love it for daytime face oil, and it smells like lemon. I also love that it is a small indie brand made in Canada. This oil is an excellent price at $22 which is amazing for natural face oil produced in Canada. I find that it helps to brighten the skin and it perfect underneath your makeup.

This is another deep moisturising face oil that I went through way too fast because I liked it so much. I feel like I am feeding my skin with nourishment when I apply it. I only wish I learned to use less because now I am all out of it.
