I remember spying on my parents watching old Alfred Hitchcock movies when I was a child and was so excited when my parents finally let me watch Psycho. Rear Window is still one of my favorite films because it takes place in one location yet it still manages to be suspenseful keeping you on the edge of your seat. It goes to show you that you don’t need a massive budget and CGI to make a great movie. Hitchcock is known to be the master of suspense and is still influential today, but his films are also known for their glamorous and timeless costumes. Grace Kelly was considered to be a fashion icon of her time, and her style in Rear Window is one of my favorites. If you have never seen a Hitchcock film, I highly recommend it because once you start, you will be hooked.
