I stumbled upon this old pioneer village on my way to Nanaimo called Whippletree Junction. All the buildings have a western Victorian feel to them painted in fun different colours. I decided to go with the seafoam green building because it goes so well with my pastel pink ensemble. Pink and green are my favourite colours and remind me of the 1950s. There is this vintage diner on Main Street in Vancouver, and everything is pink and seafoam green. Every time I go there I fantasise about doing a vintage photo shoot while sipping on a milkshake. There are no cute vintage diners in Victoria at least none that I know of. I need to go on an American vintage diner road trip along Route 66 to get my fill of old diners and motels.
