Last night Andrew and I decided to head down to the Empress Hotel to check out all of the Christmas decorations. It is so hard to take photos during the day because it gets dark so early. I feel like I am constantly rushing against time just to capture a few photos before it gets dark. I am starting to miss those long summer evenings where I could go out at 8:oo pm after dinner and capture some an amazing sunset. I have always wanted to stay at The Empress hotel because it is so beautiful and iconic but the rooms are pretty pricey. I have had high tea at The Empress once with my mom and I think it would be fun to go back and have a Christmas high tea with all of the pretty decorations and carollers.
