Create your own custom BB Cream at Nature’s First Beauty Bar 

I little over a year ago I discovered Nature’s First Beauty Bar through a friend and I have been a regular customer ever since. Karen Van Dyck is a professional Herbalist, Green Cosmetic Formulator and natural perfumer. Her certification and professional status come from Dominion Herbal College (Vancouver BC), Aftelier (Berkeley California) and through the Cosmetic Chemists (USA).

I consider Karen to be my cosmetics guru because she has so much knowledge when it comes to creating natural and organic cosmetics as well as perfumes. She has been my mentor in helping me launch my own natural perfume line as well as an inspiration to me. One of her specialties is creating custom formulations for customers including the creation of your very own BB Cream. Anyone can make an appointment with Karen and create a custom BB cream matched to your skin tone.  I love my BB Cream because it is matched perfectly to my skin tone and is formulated specifically to my skincare needs. I requested certain essential oils and added them to the base, I also asked for a little more coverage on my BB Cream because I also use it as my foundation.

My custom BB Cream is formulated with:

• Iron Oxides – Red, yellow and Brown
• Zinc, Silica, Mica
• VitaminD, Vitamin E
• Shitake Mushroom & Licorice Root – Brightens Skin
• Oregon Grape Grape Oil & Calendula – Prevents Breakouts and Antibacterial
• Turkish Rose, French Lavender, Indian Jasmine
