Last week Andrew and I celebrated Pinky’s first birthday and got him this adorable portrait cat cake and a sushi buffet. I saw this cake on Ruth and Deans Instagram a few months ago, and I  knew I had to get it for Pinky’s birthday because it is so cute! I think they should make cakes that cats can eat.  I saw on Instagram a while back that someone got their dog an edible birthday cake, so I am pretty sure someone out there makes edible cat cakes. The cake I got was a lavender infused with vanilla buttercream icing, and it was so good, probably one of the best cakes I have ever had. I couldn’t stop eating it, so  I decided to take it apart and freeze it in sections. I soon realized that frozen cake is just as good if not better especially with ice cream so now I am kind of in trouble. Since Pinky couldn’t eat his cake, Andrew and I decided to treat him with some fresh salmon and tuna sashimi, and he loved it!
