I get so excited every month when I receive a package from Pixi because I never know what I am going to get which makes me happy because I love surprises. In July I received this summer beauty essentials kit and have been using all of these products for a few weeks now. I honestly love everything by Pixi especially since they have a high-end look and feel to them but at an affordable price. I have always been skeptical of makeup setting mists because it seemed like it would just make your face wet and cause your mascara to run. This is my first time using a setting spray, and I love how refreshing it feels on my face especially in the summer time. I have been using it to set my makeup after I apply my Quick fix Powder and it works so well. My makeup lasts all day even if I go to the gym. I don’t have to worry about my foundation settling into my fine lines. I have also been using it in the afternoon as a quick pick me up before I go out. I have always wanted to try a multi use balm because it seems so handy to kill two birds with one stone and have a cohesive color palette on your lips and cheeks. I loved this balm on my cheeks because it gave them a rosy bronzed look and I also used it as a contour stick under my cheek bones. I didn’t like the way this color looked on my lips, but I think the other pink and red balms would look amazing.
