Turbans c/o Great Hair Day Turband – Necklace and Earrings c/o Mirror Mirror Bijoux
Hello lovelies, I wanted to share with you how to wear a vintage-inspired 1940s hair turban. My friend Pam from Great Hair Day Turbans makes these incredible 1940s inspired hair turbans, and she made two custom hair turbans for me. I am all about finding vintage hairstyles that are quick and easy. As much as I like curling my hair, it can be very time consuming and damaging to the hair. I love Great Hair Day Turbans because they allow you to have a glamorous vintage-inspired look in 5 minutes or less. I also like the idea of having a vintage style that keeps my hair away from my face. My goal is to have turbans to match all of my outfits. For now, I have a pink velvet turban to go with all of my pink outfits and a classic black and white polka dot turband that goes with my polka dresses. I love how simple and easy it was to create this look, and there are still so many other possibilities with these turbans. Pam also makes beautiful vintage-inspired jewelry on her other Etsy shop called Mirror Mirror Bijoux. She made me a Victorian-inspired rose necklace and earrings set as well as a pair of pinup pink cherry earrings. I love all of her vintage-inspired designs and attention to detail in her work. I know I will be cherishing all of these for years to come. She also takes custom orders, so if you have a specific color in mind for the turban, she can create it for you. I am just so happy that I discovered a new vintage way to wear my hair that is fast and easy.
