Dress c/o Unique Vintage – Necklace c/o Modcloth

Every December I like to visit Craigdarroch Castle to look at all of the beautiful Victorian Christmas decorations. I always feel so inspired when I visit because I love all of the beautiful details in a Victorian home, especially around the holidays. I always get a strange ghostly feeling when I visit the castle especially in the main drawing room with the giant Christmas tree. I can’t really explain it, but I get a strange, uneasy feeling when I know something is haunted and I always get this feeling when I enter that particular room. A few years ago I captured a ghost in one of my photos taken in this room.  Some people probably think I am crazy, but I feel like certain people can sense these things more than others. I don’t know if you have seen the movie The Boy but is filmed at Craigdarroch Castle. It is a scary movie about this possessed doll in a haunted house. It is a really good movie, and they are making a sequel in January at Craigdarroch with Katie Holmes. I am such a fan of plaid dresses, and I especially love this 1940s plaid dress from Unique Vintage because it has long sleeves and a full skirt. It is the perfect day dress for the winter, and it is incredibly comfortable.
