Dress c/o Unique Vintage – Shoes c/o Modcloth 

The weather has been so dark and rainy lately with the sun setting at 3:30 which makes it incredibly hard to take photos outside. I always forget how dark it gets this time of year until it comes around and then I start dreaming about spring again. I decided to stay inside and take some photos in my dad’s library with my vintage inspired plaid dress from Unique Vintage. I honestly feel most comfortable when I am wearing a 1950s inspired dress because I love clothing that defines my waist and conceals my hips which is the largest area on my body. I don’t feel comfortable wearing pants and find that a dress with a pair of wool tights is warmer than wearing pants. I am hoping for a few sunny days in December before the end of the year so that I can capture some beautiful photos.
