My mom and I went to The Butchart Gardens for The Spring and Summer Afternoon Tea. We decided to go on the Mother’s Day weekend to celebrate and it was so nice there because all of the Tulips were in full bloom as well as all of the Rohedenrians. We lucked out because the weather was overcast so we were able to take photos during the mid-afternoon sunlight without having to worry about the photos being too bright. The Afternoon Tea is such a good deal for only $41 a person, we had so much food that we both decided to take half of it home to eat later. The atmosphere is something out of a storybook situated in an old mansion with sea foam green painted walls and views of Jennie Butchart’s private garden. There are also views of the Italian Garden and the Tod Inlet. My mom and I have a season pass so we can go back at any time. I am excited to head back again soon to check out all of the beautiful rose gardens.
