Hello lovelies, I am excited to share with you Elizabeth Taylor’s favorite beauty products that you can still buy today. Elizabeth Taylor was a British American actress who started her career as a child actress in the early 1940s and became one of the most popular stars of classical Hollywood cinema in the 1950s. She continued her career into the 1960s and remained a well known public figure for the rest of her life.
Elizabeth Taylor had many beauty secrets and would spend several hours doing her makeup. She would spend half an hour doing her lips and an hour and a half applying her eye makeup. To set her makeup, she would take a long bubble bath and use the steam as a way to set her makeup. Elizabeth Taylor loved to use drugstore makeup brands, and her favorite face cream was Jergens. Later in life, she opted for higher-end brands like Elizabeth Arden and would religiously use the classic Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream from the 1930s. Her favorite setting powder was a lesser-known brand from Japan called Maquifard.
Since Elizabeth Taylor has long double lashes, she would never wear false eyelashes and would wear matte grey eyeliner to make her eyes pop. It was a soft matte grey eyeliner than blended easily and made her eyes pop. She loved a pretty soft look and would not do any contouring; instead, she opted for a pretty pink blush.
Elizabeth Taylor was a collector of Elizabeth Arden lipstick; she had an extensive collection. I opted for the Scarlet red Elizabeth Arden lipstick because it reminded me of something she would have worn.
Elizabeth Taylor wore several different perfumes, including Jungle Gardenia, Jean Desprez Bal A Versailles, and her own fragrance White Diamonds.
Jungle Gardenia:
Enjoy the fragrance of gardenias any time of year—wear Jungle Gardenia, the hypnotic scent favored by actress Barbara Stanwyck. True to the original women’s fragrance launched in 1932, this blend of gardenia, jasmine, lily of the valley, and other romantic notes smells as wonderful as you remember.
Jean Desprez Bal A Versailles:
Introduced in 1962. Fragrance notes: soft sweet spices, and orange flowers with lower notes of musk, civet, and ambergris.
White Diamonds:
Introduced in 1991. Fragrance notes: lily, rose, amber, oakmoss, and sandalwood.
