Dress c/o Ola Dubois
Dress c/o Ola Dubois
I always get excited when I have the opportunity to collaborate with local designers in my city. I find it very inspiring to hear someones creative story and background. I really admire people who take a chance in life to do what they love. Ola Dubois is a Victoria based fashion line made out of sustainable fabric. All of her dresses are made from reclaimed textiles which makes every dress unique and one of a kind. I just love everything from Ola Dubois because each and every dress is different and made with reclaimed textiles. I especially love this dress because of the longer length and vintage inspired silhouette. I adore dresses that go past my knees because they look so elegant and feminine. I am so exited to wear this dress out and about this weekend.

July 22, 2016 at 5:37 amUntil recently I didn’t really understand how important photos were in regard to creating online content. You have a great idea, you write it down, and you publish it but it just sits there. If you don’t have a great photo set to go along with the aforementioned idea then you won’t generate any traffic. You have to find your own style of photography and show consistency among your posts in order to be recognizable and cut through the clutter.
I wrote all that, Laura, to say that I just found your website and I think you’re doing a great job. I saw one of your photos on pinterest and that brought me to your page. I like the way you incorporate natural settings into your photos and the filters that you use all create a unified aesthetic. I think it would be easy to look at one of your photos anywhere online and know where it came from. That sort of branding is really great and you’re doing a great job!
In terms of this post I was inspired by the train and the way you used it in these photos. I want to take my fiancee on another train ride now. Thanks for the inspiration.
