On Sunday afternoon my mom and I went to Point Ellice House for afternoon tea and a tour of the old Victorian house from 1863. I have been to Point Ellice House several times throughout my life when I was a child and as an adult. I went for high tea in the summer with Andrew a few years ago out on the lawn, and it was glorious. When I found out that they now a have a Secret Vintage Tea Shoppe where you can have high tea and browse vintage books, art, jewellery, clothing and french country home decor items I knew I had to go back. You can check out the Facebook page to see some of the new items that arrive in the shoppe on a weekly basis. I was in vintage heaven in this shoppe and regret now buying anything, so I hope to head back there in a week or two to have another look. If you love shopping for vintage items and antiques, then this is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
