The most exciting weekend of February is finally here!  My version of the super bowl, the Academy Awards.  I wanted to wear a gown in todays post to inspire you for the red carpet show on Sunday. I honestly wasn’t entirely sure about this dress because I never tried it on and the lighting can be bright in those stores so everything always looks rather harsh. Once I tried it on and walked around in the sunset I felt like a million dollars in this gown and it totally looks more expensive than it actually was. I am kind of bummed that I can’t go to my prom again in this gown or at least to some sort of ball or red carpet event. I seriously love dressing up in gowns just for the fun of it.

I have seen all of the films nominated for Academy Awards this year and I wanted to share my Oscar predictions with you in all of the major categories. I am going for the underdogs in the best supporting actor categories so I am not entirely sure if my two picks will win. I will discuss how accurate my predictions were on Monday.
