I was really excited when I discovered that Covergirl has recently come out with a new line of “masstige” high end replicas for less available at Walmart. I always like to experiment with new makeup products and tend to go through a lot of makeup which means shopping at Walmart for my beauty essentials is a necessity for a girl on a budget. I am always looking on YouTube for makeup tutorials and I recently stumbled upon Danna Ann’s Covergirl #beautysteals video and felt inspired to try the new products out for myself. Here is my review.

Covergirl Plumply mascara (very black): I really like this mascara because it adds a massive amount of volume and length to my lashes. This mascara was easy to apply and didn’t rub off on my eye lids though out the day. I have decided that I am not going to purchase high end mascara anymore because I find that the less expensive mascaras  tend to be just as effective for half of the price.

 Covergirl trunaked eye pallet (roses): I seriously go through a huge amount of eyeshadow especially the lighter shimmery shades and absolutely love this eye shadow palette especially for the low price. I have several high end palettes and find the Covergirl one to be just as effective and all of the colours blend so well together. I have been wearing the eye shadow everyday and find that it lasts all day with no creasing on my lids.

Covergirl Oh Sugar lip balm (punch): I am ashamed to admit how many lip sticks and balms I have lying around my house and hidden in random purses. I am obsessed with this vitamin infused lip balm from Covergirl because it comes in 10 different shades and gives a nice subtle colour that is easy to apply. I love it because I can literally put it on while I am walking or in the car without having to use a lip liner. The Punch Cocktail flavour that I am wearing makes me lips feel super soft and adds a nice tint to my lips. I am so curious to try all of the other shades now.

Covergirl turblend blush (deep mauve): I was drawn to this blush right away because of the unique mauve colour and baked effect. I find that this blush is easy to apply with little mess. You barely need any and it gives your cheeks a nice hue and blends smoothly with your foundation. This blush also comes in two other colours that I am curious to try.
