The best part about being in a log cabin out in the woods is staying cozy inside by the fire. It was such a nice evening lounging inside because it was super cold outside and the interior of the cabin at Tigh-Na-Mara is so cute and cozy. I just love how all the furniture is made out of rustic logs and the walls are an authentic log cabin. The main living area and bathroom have skylights in the vaulted ceilings which adds a nice spacious feel to the interior of the cabin. I am not the best at making fires and don’t know the first thing about chopping my own fire wood but you don’t have to worry about that at Tigh-Na-Mara because they hand deliver you fire wood straight to your front door step. Ever so often Andrew and I would step out onto the front porch to stare at the stars in the night sky. There is nothing like spending time in the wilderness because the stars are so incredibly bright and beautiful.
