I hope everyone is having a great long weekend! I used to get sad on the Labor Day weekend because I knew that I had to go back to school the next day and that always bummed me out. Luckily my days of being a full-time student are behind me. I do however enjoy taking courses to help improve my blog. Last year I took a course in Lightroom and a photography class. I have been wanting to incorporate video into my blog for a while now but felt like my video editing skills were lacking, so I decided to register for an Adobe Premiere Pro class in November, and I am so excited! I love taking courses in the fall because it gives me something to look forward to once the weather starts to get gloomy.

On Saturday Andrew and I went to the country fair to look at all of the cute farm animals and take photos next to all of the fun and colorful signs. Every year I tell myself that I am going to go on some rides, and then I chicken out at the last minute. It was so hot outside I honestly didn’t want to stand in the long lines. I got this flamingo dress last summer from Chic Wish, and I think it goes perfectly with my bow purse from Lila’s Beauty Bag. It has this beautiful faux suede texture to it and a removable strap. I love all the compartments inside especially the zip closure in the middle for my makeup.
