Dress: C/O SUMMMERSKIN – Bag: Old Navy – Hat: Club Monaco (similar here)

Sunglasses: Forever 21 (similar here) – Belt: Target (similar)

We have been having a heat wave and a drought on the West Coast and some of the Canada Day fire works were cancelled due to a high risk of forest fires. My Canada Day was super low key and I ended up going on a shopping spree at Charming Charlie because they are having a crazy sale right now. I am back on set today working my magic as Miss Maine for the movie, I hope I finally get to wear my pink pageant gown.

I am not much of a sun bather in the summer because I am so pale and worried about sun damage. I love this SUMMERSKIN maxi dress because it provides UPF 50+ sun protection without sacrificing style. SUMMERSKIN uses high-end fibres including Tencel and natural cotton blends. Never chemically treated to achieve a UPF factor, sun protection will not wash out. If you are worried about getting sun burnt and want extra protection during the hot summer months then I would highly recommend SUMMERSKIN.

I will definitely have to give summerskin a try, as I am quite pale and worry about sun damage. Also, love how a colorful belt can completely change the look of such a simple, classic dress. So pretty!
