Today really felt like fall because it rained for the first time in months. Now I don’t want fall to come because I just remembered that I hate the rain and I love to ride my bike everywhere. Hopefully this fall will be really sunny and I can continue to ride my bike for months to come.

I am very excited to announce this monthly series I have with Monday Magazine. Every month I will be writing a fashion column for the magazine and posting the photos on my blog.  For the September issue I photographed three different looks, todays post is the first of the series. All of these looks were chosen from Still Life For Him & For Her in Victoria. You can shop most of the featured brands on their website and in store.

Thank you to Jordan Stout and the Still Life team for the styling these looks. I also wanted to thank my younger brother William for modelling the menswear.

There is something really creepy about staying in an old log cabin in the woods. The idea of being in the middle of nowhere with no connection to the outside world is very disturbing. I am scared of the wilderness because when you are in trouble you have no neighbour to call for help and in most cases you can’t get cell phone reception. Perhaps it is all of the scary movies that take place in the woods.

Here is a list of my top 10 cabin movies:

Noooo thank you. But this cabin is adorable! And I love your cozy attire for visiting it 🙂
