I can’t believe it is the last weekend before Halloween!! I had to double check my calendar because I couldn’t believe how fast this month has flown by. I still need to go to Evil Acres and the corn maze before next Saturday and carve my pumpkin. Hopefully this weekend Andrew and I will do some Halloween celebrations by watching some classic horror movies and photographing my Halloween costume. This Saturday we are headed up to Goldstream Park to hike up to the trestle to take blog photos. I just love taking photos at the trestle because it is so scenic and you don’t see abandoned train tracks every day. I tend to take the majority of my photos over the weekend especially in the winter time when the lighting is so low in the sky, this way I have all day to travel to remote places outside of the city. It is the complete opposite of the summer because I would normally wait until later in the evening to take photos once the sun is lower in the sky. I always find it hard to adjust to the changing of seasons when it comes to taking photos especially when you get into a routine and schedule. There are things I love about all seasons and it is always nice to reminisce over my old photos from the previous year.
