I got this flamingo skirt last summer and had been staring at it all winter long waiting for the day when I can wear it again. Does anyone else sometimes look at all of their summer clothes in the middle of winter and think about the warm sunny days ahead? Maybe this only happens to people who live in miserable climates like myself. Victoria is supposed to be Canada’s California but last winter was so long and dragged out it seemed like it was never going to end. I know we didn’t have it bad compared to the rest of Canada, but it was bad enough for me. Sometimes I wish I lived some place warm like California so I could wear cute summer dresses all year. The funny thing is towards the end of the summer I start getting excited about autumn and all of the new fall clothes. I am sure if I lived somewhere warm and tropical I would fantasize about snow and wearing cute winter coats and thick sweaters.
