I met my friend for a drink last night and we started talking about how most of our friends seem to be struggling in one area of their life whether it be career or relationships. I made a comment saying maybe that’s just life and nothing is ever settled and she said maybe it is just apart of being 30. I wouldn’t consider  myself to be settled because I currently live with my parents and my two brothers. When I moved back to Victoria two years ago this June the only job I could find was retail. After working at my dead end job for a year I decided to take a chance and start a fashion blog. If someone told me that I would be writing a monthly fashion column for a local magazine and have a fashion blog two years ago I wouldn’t believe them. My theory is that some times you have to reach rock bottom to make a change and gain perspective.
