Dress c/o Unique Vintage – Mommy Dearest Top c/o Unique Vintage
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian friends. I had my turkey dinner yesterday with my family. A cute orange tabby cat wandered up to my parents back steps yesterday afternoon, and she was all cold and wet, so I decided to bring her inside. After giving her some food and water, I called the number on the collar, but no one answered. I then looked at the name on the collar, and it was Pinky! I was in a state of shock because Pinky is a unique name for a cat and the odds of one coming to my back door are pretty slim. A part of me thought maybe it was meant to be and I will have two cats named Pinky. The owner called me back shortly after and came to pick her up. I found out that Pinky was 17 years old and was missing since the morning. I was so happy that I trusted my cat mom instincts and saved the cat. I think in the end it worked out because I am pretty sure Pinky would have been pretty angry if I brought home another cat named Pinky.
October is one of my favorite months for the fashion and festivities. I love to wear Halloween themed fashion all month especially subtle looks like this striped dress from Unique vintage and this Mummy Dearest top also from Unique Vintage. I have an obsession with Joan Crawford and the movie Mummy Dearest. I feel like I should probably be her for Halloween but I want Pinky to be a part of my costume and don’t know how I would incorporate him. If you haven’t seen Mummy Dearest, you must watch it!
