I have slowly become a L’Oreal beauty junky over the last year because I have been so impressed by the high-end quality of their products. I am completely obsessed with the new Lash Paradise mascara and won’t use any other brand now because it is so good. I also just started using the Infallible Pro Glow Foundation, and I love how long it lasts and the glow it gives my skin. I just ran out of my Benefit concealer so I will be buying the Pro Glow concealer in the next few days. I have the full Infallible Lip Paints collection and love all of the fun colours, so I was excited when I received the new Colour Riche matte lipstick and liner range.
The L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte collection is new to the iconic colour Riche lip colour family; these matte lipsticks feature a pigment-rich, ultra-creamy and hydrating formula in an addictive matte finish. These lipsticks are available in 12 gorgeous shades ranging from bold, bright colours to nearly nude. You can use the eight new Matte Lip Liners as a base or define, plump or contour the lips before applying the lipstick.
Colours from left to right:
102 Matte-Ly In Love / 402 Devil’s Matte-Vocate / 403 Matte-Traction Red / 405- Doesnt Matte-R
703 Matte -Moselle Pink / 707 Matte-Jestic / 711 At The Drop of Matte / 712 Matte – Mandate
800 Matte – Caron / 802 Matte- Sterpiece / 804 He Thinks He’s Mate-Cho / 806 Matte-Itude
There are so many colours to choose from it is hard to decide which one Iike the best. I naturally gravitate towards the pink and red shades because they have more of a vintage look to them. I find that the nudes look better on because they blend with your natural skin tone. I like that these lipsticks aren’t messy and don’t transfer to your clothes or teeth. I find that some lipsticks are super sticky and get everywhere when you apply them. These are super easy to apply, and I can just quickly apply them before a photo shoot, and I don’t have to worry about them transferring to my clothes or getting on my teeth. I always thought I would prefer high gloss lipstick over matte, but I love the rich pigments and matte finish. They also last a few hours, so you don’t have to worry about constantly reapplying them when you go to an event or a party.
I have never been a regular user of lip liner because it just seemed like one more step to my beauty routine. If I am going out to an event or party, I will use a lip liner because I find that it stops the lipstick from bleeding and helps it last longer. I never knew you could use lip liner to contour your lips but I started experimenting, and there are so many ways to make your lips look fuller with lip liner.
