Hello lovelies, I have wanted to do a modern to vintage fashion challenge with H&M for a while now, and I finally filmed it! I always loved the idea of going to a contemporary store in search of an outfit that has a vintage look to it. I think it is more about how you style the outfit versus actually finding pieces that have vintage details. For this challenge, I wanted to find two 1950s inspired outfits and found that to be very challenging because the 1970s are very popular right now. In the end, I bought a cardigan, and two flared black skirts that could resemble a 1950s circle skirt as my staple garments. To accentuate the looks, I choose two fun tops that added some personality to the outfits. I used vintage brooches, sunglasses, and a beret to add that final vintage touch to the look.
