For as long as I can remember I have always been curious about the Pixi beauty line mainly because it wasn’t available in Canada and I am the type of person who wants something they can’t have. When Target had a brief stint in Canada I had a chance to experiment with a few of their products before they went belly up and the dry spell began again. Luckily Shoppers Drug Mart decided to pick up Pixi beauty in the new year, and the dry spell ended. You have no idea how excited I was to have access to Pixi again!

Glow Mud Cleanser c/o Pixi

I was expecting this cleanser to be a thick mud because of the name, but it turned into an excellent foaming cleanser once you rubbed it all over your face. It comes out as a thick mud but slowly foams up into a nice gentle cleanser. I liked it because it didn’t make my skin feel dry afterwards and I enjoyed the fact that it did foam up and turned into a cleanser instead of thick mud.

Overnight Glow Serum c/o Pixi

I was so excited about this serum because of the strong 10% glycolic acid in it as well as the affordable price point compared to the other higher end products available with similar ingredients. After trying this serum for a few days in a row in combination with the other products, I must say that it is very powerful. I liked this serum, but I recommend that you only use it three times a week because it can make your skin dry if you use it every night. I feel like my skin is still shedding days later even after I stopped using it. I am now just waiting for my skin to recover before I can start using it again. I would highly recommend this product for skin exfoliation and brightening especially for the affordable price point.

“Exfoliate & soothe skin with this miracle serum that works while you sleep to reveal a brighter complexion. Formulated with 10% glycolic acid & arginine, it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and fade sun spots over time. Enriched with cucumber & aloe vera extracts to calm skin and vitamins A, C & E to nourish.”

Glow Peel Pads c/o Pixi

I was a little skeptical about the Glow Peel Pads because it seemed like you wouldn’t get as much product compared to buying the large bottle. Well, let me tell you I was completely wrong because there are seriously so many pads in there and they are drenched with the product. I feel like the value is way better with these pads versus buying the full bottle. I do not recommend using all of these products together morning and night because your skin will freak out. I did this, and my skin was irritated because it was just too much exfoliation and glycolic acid. I would recommend using these pads every night, the serum three times a week and maybe the mud cleanser every other day.

• These highly effective exfoliating pads contain 20% glycolic acid to reveal brighter, healthier, more radiant skin over time
• Helps to minimise pores, breakouts, and fine lines while promoting an even skin tone
• Enriched with vitamin E and aloe vera to nourish & soothe
• Not tested on animals
