I took these photos at The Desert Botanical Gardens outside of Phoenix in the Sonoran desert. I just love those giant Saguaro Cacti that can only be found in the Sonoran desert. The Saguaro Cacti are your quintessential cacti that you see in old western movies and Road Runner cartoons. From a distance they look like giant people standing in the desert especially the ones with the giant arms on each side. I don’t think I could ever get sick of looking at these plants scattered throughout the desert while I’m driving down the freeway.
