I have had a serious face mask addiction for years now. I use a face mask at least three days a week, and if I could I would use one every day but I need to give my skin a break. I learned the hard way by wearing too many face masks if that is possible but my skin became slightly irritated. I have since stopped using face masks that irritate my skin and stick to a few of my favourites. I use these masks on rotation depending on how my skin feels and if I have been breaking out or if my skin is feeling dull and dry. I always love trying new face masks especially detoxifying clay ones. I have even tried making clay face masks with essential oils.

Glow Mud Mask
This Pixi Glow Mud Mask is the holy grail of detoxifying clay face masks. I use at least once a week to revitalise and exfoliate my skin. I find that it helps to fade dark spots and it draws out impurities. It is my go-to face mask when I am breaking out, and I even use it as a spot treatment to draw out my clogged pores. The Kaolin & sea salt purify while ginseng & aloe vera balance out the skin. I am almost out of this face mask and will buy a new one soon.
Glow O2 Oxygen Mask
I love to use this face mask in the morning before a photo shoot or big event because it helps to revive dull and tired skin providing an immediate ant-fatigue effect. The oxygen complex, vitamins, ginseng and antioxidants all help to replenish the skin. The probiotic lactococcus ferment lysate strengthens the skin & lactic acid detoxifies. This mask comes out as a gel and turns into a foam and never really dries hard like your typical face mask. I love it as a weekly pick me up especially when I am sleep deprived.
PORE PURIFYING CLAY MASK
This Vichy mask is another great mask for purifying your pores and detoxifying your skin. It has a really nice creamy texture that is easy to spread on the skin and it doesn’t make your skin feel dry or irritated. The mineralizing thermal water strengthens the skin while the Kaolin and Bentonite clay helps to absorb impurities and tighten your pores. My skin always feels so soft and soothed afterwards from the Aloe Vera which helps to keep the skin hydrated.
DOUBLE GLOW PEEL MASK
This is one of my favourite face masks for exfoliating and brightening the skin. I use it when my skin feels dull and I am recovering from some breakouts and want the post acne spots to fade. The volcanic stone and AHA help to gently peel off dead skin cells to help brighten and smooth out the texture of my skin. I also love the amazing scent of peach, white musk and black tea. I usually leave this mask on for about 10 minutes and gently rub it into my skin to allow the volcanic stone to gently exfoliate my dead skin cells.
