I have been obsessing with 1940s inspired dresses lately and this Unique Vintage 1940s Style Black Cherry Print Jeanie Swing Dress does not disappoint. I love how subtle the cherry print is and that it almost looks like a floral print from the distance. When it comes to dressing in a vintage style I like to wear clothing that still looks contemporary with a vintage twist this way it doesn’t look like I am wearing a costume. When I style my hair and makeup everything is done subtly with a minimal cat eye and slight curls. I am all for embracing vintage but I still like to look contemporary and I think that is why I like 1940s style dresses because the silhouette isn’t as dramatic as the 1950s. I always wear a size medium from Unique Vintage because I find that the size small tends to fit a little tight on my waistline. I find the quality to be very good with attention to detail and the fabric is always very well made.
