Bikini c/o Swimsuits for All – Tunic c/o Swimsuits for All
I finally made it to the beach in my new vintage inspired gingham bikini and cover-up from Swimsuits for All. I have been on the market for a high waisted gingham bikini, so I was thrilled to find this one online. Unfortunately, the size 4 is a little snug on me especially on the top and felt like I was trying to squeeze into a tiny underwire bra. I love the look for this swimsuit, but I wish I sized up because I had no idea how small the top was going to be. Luckily I was able to exchange it for a different style; fingers crossed that it fits better. I realized that I don’t feel comfortable wearing an underwire style bikini top because it feels too much like a bra. I wish they had cup sizes and different band widths for this style because I find it hard to get an accurate and comfortable size in this style. I also find that I am sometimes a different size on the bottom, so it would also be nice to buy them separately to mix and match the sizes. I ordered some other bikinis that have a different style on the top. I will keep you posted and let you know how they fit. I do however love this cotton tunic for the beach because it works so well as a cute cover up especially with a belt. I love that it is slightly sheer and blocks your skin from the sun which is a bonus if you are fair like me.
