Hello lovelies, I was so excited when I stumbled upon an old issue of Architectural Digest featuring Elizabeth Taylor’s house in 2011 because I found some photos of her dressing table and vanity. The Estate of Elizabeth Taylor sent me a few of her perfumes, and I was thrilled to see them all on her dressing table, which means Elizabeth Taylor wore her fragrance.

What’s on her dressing table?

Perfume:

The launch of her first perfume in 1987, Passion, was the beginning of a fragrance empire that would be one of the most successful in history. Passion for Men was launched in 1989, and other perfumes followed, such as the exotic Diamonds & Emeralds, the sparkling Diamonds & Sapphires, and the dramatic Diamonds & Rubies. Most celebrities backed fragrances quickly fall from view once it is left to compete with the Chanel N°5s of the world, however, when a scent is formulated well, cleverly marketed and retails for the right price, the sky is the limit. Elizabeth Taylor’s perfumes are one of the first and few to have any staying power at the perfume counter.

Passion:

Passion by Elizabeth Taylor Perfume. Launched in 1989 as the premier fragrance by Elizabeth Taylor, Passion for women bears the inimitable signature of the screen legend and style icon. This intoxicating feminine fragrance reflects its creator’s unabashed zest for life, reputation for torrid romance, and quality of timeless beauty. Sensual jasmine and floral notes take a starring role, with vanilla lending a sweet touch.

White Diamonds:

White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor Perfume. White Diamonds for women is the perfect scent to wear whenever you want to immerse yourself in luxury. Created by the design house of Elizabeth Taylor in 1991, these liquid gem partners generous notes of bergamot, neroli, and orange with gracious lily for a sublime fragrance that turns heads.

Gardenia Elizabeth Taylor Perfume:

Gardenia Elizabeth Taylor by Elizabeth Taylor Perfume. Revel in the splendor of Gardenia Elizabeth Taylor for women. Created by legendary film starlet Elizabeth Taylor in 2003, this alluring fragrance combines silky notes of gardenia, orchid, and peony with sweet lily of the valley and green leaves, resulting in a heady mix you can wear any time of the day or night.

Love & White Diamonds:

Love & White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor Perfume. Embrace your inner starlet and feel every bit the leading lady when you’re wearing Love & White Diamonds, a romantic women’s fragrance. This seductive perfume blends floral, citrus, and woody accords for a lush, sophisticated aroma that is tantalizing to everyone in the room. Top notes of mandarin orange, petitgrain, and neroli introduce a bright and vivacious atmosphere. Following this are heart notes of gardenia, tuberose, jasmine Sambac and Turkish rose that form a majestic bouquet that awakens the senses.

White Diamonds En Rouge:

New White Diamonds En Rouge indulges women with a sensuous fragrance that captures the essence of Elizabeth’s bold glamour – her confidence and conviction; her show-stopping beauty, glamorous style, and opulent jewels – to be worn by the woman who seeks to dazzle every room she enters.

New White Diamonds En Rouge features bold top notes of Pink Peppercorn, Mandarin, and Raspberry, elegantly entwined with a robust floral bouquet of Rose, Jasmine, and Orange Flower. It finishes with seductive Vanilla Bean, decadent Vetiver, addictive Amber, and luxurious Patchouli, leaving a veil of undeniable sensuality.

Makeup:

On her dressing table, there were several Yves Saint Laurent lip glosses, Nars lipsticks, and blushes. Elizabeth Taylor also used Estee Lauder Pure color eyeshadows, Dior and Tom Ford Lipsticks. For Skincare, she had jars of La Prairie skincare.
