I always get excited when I go to Old Navy this time of year because they have the best wool coats at affordable prices. I am such a sucker when it comes to mixing a cable knit sweater with a plaid coat because it is such a quintessential fall look. I sized up in this sweater to give it an oversized look and to wear it with these velvet leggings. I am so on board with the velvet trend this season and never thought about wearing velvet leggings until I saw these ones from Old Navy. The fabric feels really substantial and the waistband sits really comfortably on my waist. I can see myself wearing them during the holidays with a cozy oversized sweater or perhaps dress them up with a tunic.
