Last Friday Andrew and I went to the opening of Yalla – Middle Eastern Street Eats in Victoria, BC. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when we arrived to this event and I must say that we were both throughly impressed by the hospitality of the staff and quality of the food. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable the prices considering the portion sizes and the high calibre of the food. We got to try everything on the menu from start to finish including all of the drinks. After about five hours of eating and drinking we made our way home so very full and satisfied. I would highly recommend Yalla as an affordable downtown lunch spot.
