Last week Andrew and I took the Clipper to Seattle and stayed at the brand new Hyatt Regency in downtown Seattle. We stayed in a king size corner room on the 35th floor with floor to ceiling windows and views of the city. I was so excited when I walked into the room because I have never stayed on the 35th floor before, and wow was the view incredible. The windows were expansive and had a large area to sit on and look down at the city. It almost felt like I was sitting out in the open air. I have never experienced anything like it. Our room had all of the modern amenities, including a massive 65-inch television and a beautiful bathroom with a large walk-in shower and the best smelling shampoo and conditioner. I decided to sleep with all of the curtains open because it is not every day that I get to sleep on the 35th floor. I woke up briefly at sunrise to a beautiful pink sky mixed with clouds and fog, and it was like sleeping in the air. Another fantastic feature to the Hyatt Regency in Seattle is the Regency club which features a continental breakfast as well as snacks in the afternoon and canapes and drinks in the evening. We went down there in the evening before our Seattle Mariners game and had a few drinks and snacks while watching the Raptors game. After our Mariners game, we strolled back to our hotel and went to the Market on the second floor of the Hyatt Regency to pick up a few snacks and beverages for our room. I love that the hotel as everything you need so you don’t have to worry about finding a corner store in the middle of the night especially because the Market is open 24 hours. Staying at the Hyatt Regency was one of the best Hotel experiences I have ever had, and it was such a seamless and easy trip thanks to the convenience of Clipper Vacations.
