Cake Walk

Blouse: J.Crew – Skirt: Marshall’s (similar here) – Necklace: Stella & Dot (similar here)

This is the top of my friends wedding cake that I took home last weekend. It was so pretty and couldn’t resist doing a photo shoot with it before I took a bite. I was too nervous to eat it and then my brother came home and decided to devour it and created a feeding frenzy and my other brother joined in too. I ended up throwing it away because I couldn’t control myself anymore. This weekend turned out to be really fun, I didn’t have any set plans and it kind of all just came together at the last minute. On Friday J invited me to go see a band at a house on Fernwood and then we watched a movie at his place after. On Saturday I went to see The Age of Adaline with a friend and then we randomly decided to go to a country bar afterwards. I didn’t think that movie was going to be very good but I must say that I was really into it and almost cried several times haha. On Sunday I went out for a Mother’s Day Korean BBQ feast with my family, it was super delish!

That cake is amazing. It looks delicious and like a decoration at the same time. I don’t blame you for wanting to pose with it. And the outfit and fields of flowers was a great way to integrate all these hipster vibes. Nice post!
