Last week my mom and I went for afternoon tea at this new French-inspired dessert bar and tea room in Victoria called La Roux Patisserie. As you already know I am obsessed with all things Parisian so I was super excited to try this new place. I saw the photos of the floral chairs and pastries on their Instagram page and knew I had to try these yummy treats for myself. I love that they use vintage teapots on all of the tables paired with the cute silver trays and floral chairs. The decor is bright and airy with a feminine yet sophisticated touch. I have tried my fair share of macarons even the ones from Laduree in Vancouver, and I must say these are by far the best macarons I have ever tried. My mom agreed that they were full of flavor and not too sweet. The owner was trained in Paris and experienced the best pastries in the world which explain the high quality. I am so excited to go back again with Andrew and try some of the other pastries and macaron flavors.
