I recently received the new Kate Somerville Exfolikate system in the mail and have been testing it for a week now using the face wash am and pm combined with the exfoliating treatment twice a week. For those of you who don’t know about the  Exfoliate system it was originally developed by Kate Somerville for her celebrity clients as a way for them to get a fresh red carpet glow. Paying for a facial or chemical peel can get super expensive. I am always on the look out for an exfoliator that gives the same results as a professional facial or chemical peel. As of now I am going to say that I am thoroughly impressed with this entire line. I was kind of skeptical in the beginning since there are so many exfoliating face products out there. Since using Exfolikate I have noticed an over all brightness of my skin and lightening of my old acne scars. My pores look way smaller and I noticed that my pimples cleared up really quickly with no scars. In the past I found that a pimple would linger for a long time and leave a discolouration weeks later. The ExfoliKate system has helped speed up the cell turnover in my skin with the use of pineapple, pumpkin and papaya enzymes as well as Glycolic and lactic acid.

I picked up these cute vintage flower painting books this week. I am really into illustrating wild flowers and this mini book I found for $2 is a perfect reference.
