On Saturday Andrew and I headed over to Long Meadow Farm to take some photos of their beautiful lavender field. Long Meadow Farm is a beautiful property and wedding venue located in Saanich which is just a short drive from Victoria. I love driving out to Saanich on the weekends to enjoy the beautiful landscape and pick up some fresh fruit from the orchards along the way. Long Meadow Farm is the perfect venue for a  wedding because you are nestled amongst a beautiful lavender field juxtaposed against rolling meadows and tall Douglas Fir trees. The farm is also situated on a small orchard and flower garden with Dahlias, Peonies and roses which makes for the perfect storybook setting.  If you are visiting Victoria and want to head outside of the city to explore the countryside and hit up some of the local orchards and pick up a freshly baked pie then I would highly recommend exploring the Saanich peninsula and stopping by Long Meadow Farm.
