I recently discovered this app called Magic Hour that calculates the best time of day to take photos based on your location. According to my app magic hour starts at around 3:30pm everyday and ends at around 4:30 when the sun sets. Now I am starting to realize that if I want to take photos during magic hour I only have a short window everyday to do this. In the winter the sun is so low in the sky you can get away with taking photos earlier in the day but there is nothing like that beautiful golden light that was captured in these photos during magic hour. For some reason daylight savings is seriously getting to me this year and I feel like I can’t get anything done because it gets dark so early everyday. I swear I am constantly rushing to take photos before the sunsets and run errands even though it is only late afternoon yet it feels like 11:00 pm. I am a night owl so these early sunsets are night ideal and I am starting to think I should wake up at the crack of dawn. I always say that I would like to be a morning person but I just can’t seem to get to bed early enough.
