I used to work at Anthropologie, and I was obsessed with their beauty section because of they had the best indie perfume selection and unique beauty brands. Now that I start thinking about it I get sad because there is no Anthropologie where I live, and I miss shopping there. I was so excited when I found out Anthropologie launched its exclusive skincare line in collaboration with Susie Wang, founder of the brand 100% Pure. Puristry is a play on purity and chemistry made with USDA- certified organic ingredients.
Purustry Nopal Cactus Cleanser:
I was so intrigued to try this cleanser because I have never used a beauty product with cactus in it and this one sounded so exotic. I wasn’t sure if the product would have a strong scent to it, but it has a gentle fresh citrus scent to it from the orange oil and bergamot fruit oil. I love that it also has prickly pear extract in it because it is supposed to be one of the natures most powerful antioxidants for your skin. I like to use this cleanser in the morning because I find it super gentle and moisturizing. It doesn’t foam up like most cleansers and doesn’t give your skin a vigorous deep clean. I would highly recommend this cleanser if you have dry, sensitive skin.

I am a huge face oil junkie and love to try as many as I can as a way to compare. I gravitate towards the natural and organic lines when it comes to face oils because I want the pure ingredients instead of the synthetic chemicals. I have been using this oil morning and night, and I love the way it absorbs into my skin not leaving it greasy. It has a scent to it that I cant figure out; I think it might be the sage and cedarwood. The combination of oils creates such a unique scent and product; I truly love it.
