Today I will be discussing Sophia Loren’s favorite beauty products that you can still buy today. 

Sophia was born on September 20, 1934, and is an Italian film actress. She is one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Sophia was encouraged to enroll in acting lessons after entering a beauty pageant. She began her film career at the age of 16 in 1950. In 1956 she signed a five-picture contract with Paramount that launched her international career.

Creed Irisia perfume:

Launched 1968

Irisa perfume by Creed is a beautiful fragrance based on the finest iris from Florence. This is a fragrance that has truly stood the test of time. The iris is featured in the middle notes, supported by tuberose and violet. The lovely opening is complex and composed of notes, including bergamot, peach, and mandarin orange. The finish is broad and includes notes of oakmoss, cedarwood, and amber.

Emanuel Ungaro Diva perfume:

Launched in 1983

Diva is considered a semi oriental floral perfume. It has notes, like Lang Lang, vanilla, sandalwood, tuberose, and the citrus accord. Designed for women who like to elegantly break the rules, this perfume is perfect for your night out. 

Sophia:

Launched in 1980 

Sophia, by Coty perfume, is a feminine perfume designed for Sophia Loren. The top notes are bergamot and orange. Heart notes clove, cinnamon, orris, orchid, jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang. Base notes musk, amber, vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, and leather.

Sophia Loren collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana to create a lipstick dedicated to her. The lipstick is called Sophia Loren No1 is the perfect shade of pink and red. The lipstick bullet is signed by Sophia herself which makes them unique. 

Olive Oil: 

Sophia has said that she takes baths in olive oil and also uses it as a moisturizer and hair mask. 

Lux Soap:

There are several vintage advertisements of Sophia promoting Lux Soap, so there is a chance she also used that soap. Lux Soap was launched in the United States in 1925.

Max Factor: 

There are several vintage Max Factor ads featuring Sophia Loren, so this is a good chance she also wore Max Factor.
