I was really excited  to get out and take some photos after I learned all of these new tricks from my photography class last week. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I now know how to use my camera on full manual settings yay! I am so proud of myself and thought this day would never come. I have come to realize that I am the type of person who needs in person instruction and practice to truly grasp something. I have registered for so many online photography classes but found them so hard to follow. I am happy that I finally took the plunge and decided to take a class in person at a local community college. The light was getting low in these photos and normally I would have had to stop taking them at this point because the flash would have been going crazy. I took my new skills to the test and cranked up the ISO to the max and kept the Aperture really low and as a result I got these really cool vintage looking photos. I think next time when the light is this low I will use a tripod just to be safe because the camera can pick up movement in low light settings.
