When I was editing these photos I decided that I should call this post The Notebook because this dress and photo location reminded me of the movie. There is something about a floral vintage inspired dress that makes me so happy. I have a vision of myself sitting under one of those big trees you see in the movies having a picnic wearing this dress. I used to be obsessed with Betsey Johnson when I was younger and I remember when I went to her store on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles. When I was shopping the other day I stumbled upon a whole bunch of Betsy Johnson dresses and I remembered how much I love her designs. I swear she is the master of combining bright colours and prints with a vintage flair.
