Hello lovelies,
Since it is almost Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be fun and festive to do a vintage Valentine’s Day candy haul. I randomly stumbled upon an old candy shop in my neighborhood and discovered that they have a wide variety of vintage candy all arranged according to decades. Since I love all things vintage, I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and research some of my favorite childhood candies. I was surprised that Reese’s peanut butter cups are one of the oldest candies on the list from 1948. The oldest candy is the classic Valentine’s Day hearts called Sweet Hearts or Conversation Hearts that started in 1901. I grew up with most of these candies and just assumed that most of them would be from the 1980s or 1990s. Do you remember any of these candies? What is your favorite Valentines Day candy?
